CHED Commissioner Apag Leads NBSC’s 1st Quarter Board of Trustees Meeting for 2025
NBSC warmly welcomed CHED Commissioner Desiderio Apag III, PCpE, D.Eng on April 4, 2025, as he presided over the College’s 1st Quarter Board of Trustees Meeting in his capacity as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.
During the meeting, College President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, presented NBSC’s accomplishments for the first quarter of 2025, covering the months of January to March. The report highlighted significant developments and progress in Instruction, Academic Affairs, Student Services, Research and Development, Extension and Community Engagement, Production Services, and Governance and Administration.
Key academic and administrative matters were thoroughly discussed, deliberated, and approved by the Board. To optimize Commissioner Apag’s presence, a pre-procurement planning session was also conducted in the afternoon to facilitate upcoming projects and initiatives of the College.
Commissioner Apag’s visit underscores the continuing support and guidance of CHED in advancing the goals of NBSC as it strives for academic excellence and institutional growth.
